Lighthouse full-body tracking, on any SLAM headset.
SpaceFusion keeps Lighthouse trackers, controllers and full-body devices aligned with standalone headsets — without the fiddling.

Where it stands
SpaceFusion is in development and has not been released.
- Design and a working scaffold are complete; everything builds without warnings.
- 86 automated tests pass, including end-to-end calibration scenarios on synthetic data.
- It has not yet been run inside SteamVR with real hardware. That validation comes next.
Three modes
Pick how your space is tracked
Switch between three proven approaches in one tool.
- Default
Follow SLAM
Your headset keeps its own tracking; trackers, controllers and full-body devices are aligned to it continuously.
- Tethered headsets
Tracker-driven headset
A head-mounted tracker drives the headset pose, so a SLAM headset behaves like a Lighthouse headset — with automatic fallback to SLAM. Experimental over wireless streaming.
- No head tracker
Classic
Calibrate once with a tracker or controller held against your headset. The offset is saved and reapplied after restarts.
Features
Calibration that keeps up with you
PrototypeBuilt and tested on simulated data; not yet verified on real hardware.
Joint calibration
Solves the space offset and the tracker mount offset together — rotation and translation separately.
Automatic latency
Learns the latency between the two tracking systems before calibration even starts.
Drift, jumps and slips
Continuous drift correction, relocalization jumps fixed in about 0.3 s, and a test that tells a SLAM relocalization from a slipped tracker strap.
Only trusted data
Uses only samples SteamVR reports as tracking normally, and drops those just before a tracking loss.
Lighthouse space lock
Follows SteamVR when it re-levels its Lighthouse space, so a calibration keeps fitting after restarts — without modifying SteamVR files.
Self-healing
After a SteamVR restart the driver restores alignment in about a second; crash-loop protection with a safe mode.
Calibration assistant
Asks only for the head motion the solver still needs, on screen and by voice.
Imports your profiles
From Space Calibrator 2 / 1.x, SpaceSync and SpaceOverride; one-time calibrations work right away.

One interface, eight languages
Captured in demo mode, which runs the whole pipeline on a simulated headset and tracker without touching SteamVR.
